Ft Lauderdale Boat Show
The 53rd Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, shall commence on the 25th October untill the 29th, 2012 in Florida, the "Yachting Capital of the World". This years show promises to be bigger and better with show exhibits range from yacht builders and designers to exotic cars and brokerage yachts.

Feadship has recently announced the sale of a 45m superyacht to a Chinese client, the yacht shall be based on the M.Y. Helix, a F45 Vantage Series which was recently presented at the Hainan Rendez-vous in April earlier this year.
GPS tracking foreign charter yachts in Thailand
The chief of the Phuket office of the Marine Department says he is drawing up plans to launch a campaign targeting “hundreds” of visiting foreign yachts that avoid paying tax to Thai officials despite conducting “business” in Thai territorial waters. Named among the visiting yachts to be targeted were charter yachts & tour boats for tourist activities, such as snorkeling, diving and sea tours.
Monaco Yacht show wrap up
The Monaco yacht Show has now concluded for 2012 and the numbers are simply astonishing, the average length of the superyachts at the show was 46.70 meters with for 103 yacht brands exhibited. The most represented segment was the 40m - 50m range with 40 vessels on display, this supports the current industry analysis with current average superyacht length being 40.0m and 47.0 meters the average length of yachts under construction.
Hanseatic 77m Fast Support Vessel
Hanseatic Marine, the Western Australian shipbuilder of recognizable superyachts such as M.Y. Silver, M.Y. Silver Zwei and M.Y. Smeralda have recently announced their plans for a 77m Fast support vessel on similar hull characteristics.
