Beluga Yacht

It has been dubbed the ‘Emperor of the Seven Seas’, is designed to resemble the shape of a whale and will cost a cool $200m.

These futuristic designs for the Beluga super yacht were unveiled at the Monaco Boat Show last week by its designers, Pure-Sang.  The Beluga features two living levels, which are connected by a glass staircase and mezzanine to emphasize its height and create light.  They claim to have drawn inspiration from Moby Dick and Pinnochio, and the yacht’s 100m² sunroof is designed to open like the mouth of a whale.

The main suite is located on the roof in an oval, glass room and there are five further suites in the belly of the boat all with extendable balconies and ensuite spas.

Entertaining your guests won’t be a problem as the yacht will include a beach club with a 14m-long swimming pool, whirlpool, cocktail bar and a lounge area spanning two levels. There’s plenty of space to relax in the spacious living area and 30 staff members are at guests’ beck and call

There’s an onboard tender garage which has the capacity to hold two custom-made trailers and can be turned into a nightclub with an illuminated glass dance floor.

There will also be a state-of-the-art gym, cinema, bar, library and a greenhouse with real palm trees plus a vegetable garden.

The slick and ambitious designs won Pure-Sang the title of ‘Best New Super Yacht Concept’ at the show.
